    Incoming POP3 Server: pop3.exit109.com
    Outgoing SMTP Server: smtp.exit109.com





Select Options..Mail and News Preferences.. and click on the Servers tab. The outgoing SMTP server is smtp.exit109.com and the incoming POP3 server is pop3.exit109.com. The POP3 username is your exit109 username. Next click on the Identity tab and enter your name and e-mail address (username@exit109.com). Click OK. To check your mail, select Window..Netscape Mail.. and then select File..Get New Mail..




Select Edit..Preferences.. and click the small plus sign ( Plus Sign ) next to Mail & Groups. Click on Identity and fill in your name and your e-mail address (username@exit109.com). Click on Mail Server. The mail server username is just your username. The outgoing SMTP server is smtp.exit109.com and the incoming POP3 server is pop3.exit109.com. Click OK.

To check your mail, select Communicator..Messenger Mailbox.. and then select File..Get Messages..

To set up multiple users/profiles:

From the Start Menu, select the Netscape folder, then select Utilities..User Profile Manager. Click on New to create a new profile, then click Next. Enter your name and e-mail address (username@exit109.com), then click Next. For the profile name, enter your exit109 username. Also change 'default' on the end of the directory name to your exit109 username. Click Next. Enter your name and e-mail address, and set the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server to smtp.exit109.com. Click Next. Enter your exit109 username as the mail server user name and set the Incoming Mail Server to pop3.exit109.com. The mail server type is POP3. Click Next. Enter news.exit109.com as the news server and click Finish. You are now done. Each time you launch Netscape, it will ask you to identify yourself and it will keep your bookmarks, e-mail, and news settings separate from the other users of Netscape on that system.



Select Server. Enter your Name as you would like it to appear on email that you send. Then enter your e-mail address (username@exit109.com). The Outgoing Mail server is smtp.exit109.com and the Incoming server is pop3.exit109.com. Your POP3 Account is your username (in lowercase) and your Password is the same as the password you use to dial into the system.

Click Advanced Settings. The Reply-To address should be left blank (unless you want replies to go to a different address for some reason). Click Ok. Then click Send and ensure that Mail sending format is set to Plain Text.



Select Tools..Accounts.. and then click Add..Mail..   Using the wizard, type in your name, then your e-mail address (username@exit109.com). For the e-mail server names, our Incoming Mail server is pop3.exit109.com and the Outgoing SMTP server is smtp.exit109.com. For your Internet Mail logon, log on using your POP account name, which is just your username. You may enter your password if you want the program to memorize it. Select a Friendly Name for the account, such as exit109 e-mail, and click Next. Most people will want to choose 'Connect using my phone line' under Connection Type. You will need to select your modem and the exit109 connection as the one to dial. Click Finish.

To check your mail, select Tools..Send and Receive.. or click Read Mail in the right frame.



Select Tools..Options.. and click on Getting Started in the left pane. Enter your POP account, which is username@pop3.exit109.com, type in your name under Real Name, and enter username@exit109.com as the return address. Click on Hosts in the left pane, and enter smtp.exit109.com as the SMTP server.

To check your mail, select File..Check Mail..
