Jots, Tittles

Knitting with Cousin Bear in the late afternoon.

Oh dear. Look away! Look away! I'm not at all sure I should share this photo of my personal dogs! But red socks have gotta massively improve the appearance of my feet. Must. Knit. Faster.

During this time when I am not knitting very fast or finding much time to knit slowly, even, I've been visiting the artist Karen Searle's online gallery, especially her fiber works. She's teaching at Convergence; I wish I could go just to take her sculpture workshop. If you're going, please tell absolutely all upon your return. And the mention of Convergence (sponsored by the Handweavers Guild of America) reminds me to plug local and national guilds; have you checked the one that's convenient to you? There's a wealth of information and talent and experience in every one. I loves me guilds, near and far and across several states. See the Austin Knitters and Crocheters Guild entertaining Joan Schrouder (or vice versa) at Austin knitter MEM's Little Yarn Shoppe of Horrors.

Enjoy the day; enjoy your knitting; enjoy a guild near you.
