Love the butterflies!! I'd love to make the pattern - is the book available here in the US?
Thanks, Judy
Posted by Judy at September 7, 2004 09:17 AMI really believe that the a/c has a mind of it's own. Happens every year at work.
Glad to see the pups spent the day with their counsins, Dyna is really growing.
Now that you have decided how to post, DO WE STILL GET 5 PUP PICTURES PER WEEK????? :-> I'm really good at hinting huh.
Tootles~
Posted by Auntie Karen at September 7, 2004 09:28 AM"Cousins" not counsins! Gee, it's my vacation week and I've already lost it. Maybe I'm just up too early, you think?
Yes that "preview" button works, I guess I should try it now and then huh.
Tootles again~

Posted by Amy at September 7, 2004 12:39 PMAs I love butterflies - I adore your mitten pattern. How does one get a copy of that book or other contemporary Finnish patterns? Help! Always glad to read your blog. Have a very good week.
Posted by Peg at September 7, 2004 03:07 PMGeez! You already whipped up a mitten! The colors look really breathtaking – just marvelous! Eh…I’m afraid the colors I saw in my mind’s eye are very pale compared to this. You really have the skill!

What are you going to knit for your Poetry knitalong ?
Posted by Emma at September 7, 2004 06:30 PMGorgeous mitten.
I love the way you use variegated, hand-painted yarns in your two-color work. I would never think to do that. I have some of the Vera colorway leftover from some socks. Hmmm...
As usual, your knitting is impeccable! We are heavy into butterflies these day over here, so we love the pattern you chose.
