That's the niftiest lamp shade I've ever seen! Awesome knitting as usual!
Posted by Laura at June 5, 2003 07:57 AMHappy Thursday Lisa! And best wishes for the weekend; I'm off work tomorrow & Monday, so probably won't get to look at your blog until next week again. Ooh, you've got Stillwater? I only have three AS books (Aran, Fisherman's, Tudor) and am keeping them right by my side. I've love to make the children's cat sweater from Norske; there might even be a child in the family some day to wear it. :) Thinking happy thoughts for you as your son moves west...
Posted by Karen Berglund at June 5, 2003 09:05 AMI think the skein really does stand out quite a bit. Hard to tell what it will look like knit up with the other color, though.
Posted by Lola at June 5, 2003 10:39 AMI really like your GLMC. The new color is nice, it will be nice to see it when it is knitted in with the others two. I used to get WoolGathering years ago and then when it ran out, I forgot to renew. Do you find the patterns easy to follow? Back when I got it, I found them hard to follow but then I was more of a blind follower then (especially with fair isle type sweaters). Now I would be more apt to just figure it out if I didn't understand it.
