Hi Sister! Thanks for mentioning my raccoons. The babies didn't come out last night. Hopefully they will again this weekend.
I'm glad the kids made it to Ca safely!
Posted by Laura at June 13, 2003 08:02 AMHey Lisa! Just catching up with your last few posts!
I'm wit ya sista...FAIR ISLE ROCKS!!!
C looked at me one night and said "you really like that kind of knitting don't you?" and I said, "yes, I do", then she said "you're never going back are you?" Makes me laugh as I type it but it's true.
I'm printing out your page on crocheting steeks...in retrospect I wish I had crocheted the steeks I just cut for the Shir Tail FI...but after spending so much time thinking about how to start the rib, I was so ready to get going on it that I just cut. But there's always next time!
Have a great week-end!
Posted by Teresa at June 13, 2003 09:03 AMYour fair isle looks wonderful!
And Lucy says she wants a baby raccoon to play with . . .
Posted by Wendy at June 13, 2003 09:16 AMIt's easier to share my entire favorites list since I have it online. I have a few crochet links. I mostly crochet dishcloths as they're pretty easy. I also have several books. Enjoy!

LOVE your fair isle - isn't colorwork fun!!!!!???
Posted by Annie at June 13, 2003 08:34 PMLisa,
I'm amazed that this is just your fourth color-work project. Your knitting is so beautiful! I'm itching to jump into a project from Poetry in Stitches but am still a bit scared of it. Maybe one of these days I'll take a deep breath and do it. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy your fair isle progress. :)
Posted by Cari at June 13, 2003 08:59 PMOoo... ran across your blog and saw that you were looking for crochet blogs. I happen to have just started one. *grin*
