...what a beautiful illustration of a corn stalk......the shadows on the turned leaves are so good....perfect for a good example of drawing and painting.....when in Carol Russell's Navaho tapestry class we did a small tapestry of "Blue Corn"....one could get lost in the beauty of drawing or weaving corn....thank you for that web site...from Janet who likes Iowa very much---very middle-American...but then I was born in Ohio and know how much fun is had down at the Grange Hall and in small towns in the summertime watching movies on sheets hung outside windows ...and the ultimate fun at the State Fairs from gigantic pigs to tractor pulls to women's needle and fiber arts....the Wisconsin State Fair is wonderful....
