Thanks for taking the time to tell the story of your colors. It tickled me to think of you trying to get an eagle's eye view of the shades and then making the final choice by committee. Meg's voice is so calm. I love to call SHP and have her answer the phone, don't you?
My first phone call today will be to School House Press. I'm going to order the wool for AS Marina and tack on the Giant Latvian Mitten Sweater pattern and a J & S colorcard.

I don't do colors well so I pay for books to ooh and aah over what someone else has done. But, I like the idea that you wanted your own colors for the GLMC...I think I'll put that on my list of things to do! SHP is a life saving rock out in the middle of the ocean! By the way, I am waiting with baited breath until you put that beauty of full display...what a wonderful sweater for the fall.
Posted by Robin at July 22, 2003 10:18 AMThat's how I make all my decisions. I especially like the part where you get other people involved. There's always someone else to share the blame when things don't work out. Giving credit, however, is a different issue.
