I've always liked the Cobra body style but never gave much thought to owning one until one day my friend Frank mentioned that he was getting a Vintage 550 Spyder Replica. That got me thinking about replicas in general, then Cobras in particular. "Hmmmm, I wonder how much it would cost to build a Cobra?"
It turns out that the guys at Factory Five put out a kit that let's one get on the road for about $16000. I ordered one a week or two later, and bought a 1992 Ford Mustang GT about a week after that.
