| The
Dikeman Engine and Hose Company is one of three all
volunteer fire companies that make up the Goshen Fire
Department located in Orange County, NY. Jointly we provide
firematic and rescue services to the 12,000 residents of the
Goshen Fire District 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The company was founded on September 11,
1873. Please visit the history
page to learn more about our past.
The Dikemans currently run 4 pieces of
apparatus; a class A pumper, a heavy rescue, a medium rescue
and a collapse truck/trailer. Visit the
apparatus page to learn more
about our equipment.
In 2003 after over a century of occupying
the New St. firehouse, the Dikeman Engine and Hose Company
moved to our new home on Dikeman drive on the outskirts of
the Village of Goshen. More information about Station 3 can
be found on the station page.
The company is run by two sets of
officers. The civil officers preside over the social and
civic functions of the company while four line officers
provide firematic leadership. The names of all sixty members
including the civil and line officers is on the
members page.
Lastly, please leave a comment in our
guestbook.
