| BOOM - The Story |
The concept for BOOM was to have a place at the Jersey Shore where a great Burger of superior quality could be served. We wanted the restaurant to be upbeat and fun where the customer could enjoy a great meal in a nice setting.
Our goal was to introduce a superior product and we were fortunate to have Pat La Frieda Meats be our key and valued supplier. Pat La Frieda Meats have been in business for over 90 years and they distribute their product to many of the finest restaurants and burger places in NYC.They selected BOOM as their first and only place at the Jersey Shore to introduce their quality products.
Pat La Frieda Meats of NYC are renowned for their products. In their beef they only use whole domestic muscles to include chunks, clods and Brisket. Pat makes BOOM a special blend and his product is used all our burgers and the Rib Eye Sandwich.
We thought you might want to know a bit more about the beef product we are using from Pat La Frieda Meats and the commitment to quality evident in their product and that of their suppliers:

In case you were wondering, the cattle mount you see over the entrance into the kitchen comes from a Texas Longhorn cow who was named Cindy Crawford. Her sire was Senator and her Dam (Mother) Rose Blade. You might also note the two pictures below and to the right of Cindy where she is shown with two of her calves in the pasture. Cindy unfortunately slipped down an icy hill during a cold winter. She honors us by keeping an eye on all we do and the quality of the beef we serve.
We thank you for coming to BOOM and hope the experience will bring you back often
