BISCUOTO

Ingredients:

7 cups flour
7 eggs (Large)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
dash salt
3/4 to 1 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp baking powder
2 to 3 tsp. anisette flavor (anise)

Preparation:

Knead dough lightly using 6 cups of the flour and adding the rest as necessary to stiffen dough slightly.

Shape into 2 loaves on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Cool covered in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Bake until light golden brown

Cool - Cut at an angle.
