1 pkg frozen chopped broccoli (9 oz)

1 onion chopped

1 C uncooked instant rice

1/2 stick butter

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 C milk

1/4 C water

1/2 C cheez wiz



Place broccoli in strainer and run cold water over to thaw. Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan over low heat and saute onion. Grease casserole dish with shortening. Place broccoli, onion, rice and soup in casserole dish. Combine cheez wiz, milk and water in blender and blend until smooth. Add to casserole mixture and stir until blended. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes. Serve as a side dish.
