OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients:

1 cup butter Crisco

1 cup sugar

3 cups oatmeal

1 cup brown sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

1 12 oz bag chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp soda

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs and blend. Beat in other ingredients. Roll dough in little balls and then flatten on cookie sheet with a fork. Bake @ 350 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes depending how big they are.
