PENNE IN VODKA SAUCE

Ingredients:

1/2 red chili pepper or 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

1/2 C vodka

1 lb penne

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce

1/2 C heavy cream

1 tsp dried parsley flakes or 1 tbs fresh chopped parsley

1/2 C parmesan cheese

Directions:

Soak pepper in vodka for 1 hour. Drain. Cook penne. Heat tomato sauce in small saucepan over low heat. Add vodka. Add cream and parsley. Stir in cheese. Simmer for 2 minutes. Pour over penne and toss. Serve at once.
