4 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp baking power
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 lb (about 3/4 cup sesame seeds)

Sift together the flour, sugar, baking power and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives until pieces are the size of small peas. Stir in eggs to make a soft dough. Blend in milk, one tbsp at a time. Mix together thoroughly with fingers.

Break dough into small pieces and roll each piece between palms of hands to form rolls about 1 - 1/2 inches in length. Flatten rolls slightly and roll in sesame seeds. Place on greased cookie sheets about 3/4 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. (I like to cook them less for a different taste) About 6 dozen cookies.
