STRAWBERRY CAKE

Ingredients:

1 pkg white cake mix

1/2 cup water

4 eggs

3 tbs flour

1/2 cup Crisco Oil

1 small pkg dry strawberry Jello

1/2 cup drained frozen strawberries (save juice)

Directions:

Put cake mix in bowl; add water gradually, add eggs unbeaten one at a time; blend well. Add Flour, then oil, then Jello. Beat until well blended. Fold in thawed/drained strawberries. Grease 3 nine inch cake pans; bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or glass pan at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or loaf pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 lb margarine or butter 1 box powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla 2 tbs evaporated milk

strawberry juice (for flavor/color/consistency)

Blend together - spread on cold cake.
