1 1/2 C cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 1/2 C sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 C evaporated milk
1 or 2 (9 inch) pie shell(s)


Set oven at 350. Boil medium potatoes. When finished, run some cold water on them but only to be able to peel potatoes without getting burned; mashed potatoes. Next put the butter in the potatoes and mix well. Take all your sugar and spices and mix them in a small bowl together. Add vanilla with the spices and mix into potatoes. Beat eggs real well and mix with the other batter. Carefully pour the evaporated milk into batter, but don't make it too juicy. Pour into shell(s) and bake for about 35 minutes.
