TORTELLINI

Ingredients:

1 lb fresh ( or frozen) tortellini (prepared according to pkg. directions

1 med. onion sliced thin

1/2 lb. bacon

1 tbs. dry sherry

1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms

2 tbs. butter

1 C lt. cream or half & half

Directions:

Fry bacon in 1 inch pieces until crisp (save fat). Melt butter; add mushrooms, onion, and sherry. Sauté 2 minutes. Add small amount of bacon fat (optional) and cream. Simmer until thickened. Stir in bacon pieces; pour over cooked tortellini.
